Shangarh is a small known village in Himachal Pradesh that is surrounded with deodar trees. A perfect destination to spend some times in the lap of Himalayas. 

The most popular place in Shangarh is the, Shangchul Mahadev’s temple which is situated in a big ground surrounded by meadow and high range mountains.

Being as a part of Great Himalayan National Park there are many treks that start from here.

Barshangarh waterfall – This beautiful waterfall is 3 Km from the Shangarh village.

Lapah Village – A 4-5 hour easy trek will take you to this village called Lapah.

Shumga Thach – Shangarh to Shumga thach is a popular trekking track through Barshangarh and Sara Lake. The trek is of  2-3 days. 

Thihani Thach – Another marvelous place in Shangarh is the Thihani Thach which falls on the same trail as Ganjau Thach. It is the highest point in Shangarh village that you can reach in about 3-4 hours by trekking.
